08/04/2021Concerned with Sponsorship being a fit with his team - there are 2 teams within the new merged group (BB&T and Suntrust). Craigs team handle larger institutional type firms that have regional or national presence. The other team focuses on the local sponsor groups but is actively lending on construction. They lean towards higher debt yields and will need some recourse. He is going to refer to Seth who runs this group. Will follow up shortly. -- pwitham
08/11/2021Would need the Sponsor to bring in a JV Partner that is experienced in large scale multifamily development in order for them to get comfortable quoting the loan. -- pwitham
