06/25/2015 - Spoke with Dan Maples. He apologized for being out of touch these past few weeks. They have been swamped, and he is still interested in seeing if they can do something on this deal. I made him aware of our timing concerns, and our desire to pick a horse in the near future. He will continue his review, and will be back to us on Monday with feedback. 6/30/15 - Left voicemail

06/04/2015	Good call with Dan Maples. The product type is perfect, he really likes the deal, and would be interested in doing a construction-to-permanent loan. He is a bit nervous about 1) the loan size as they typically top out at $75M, and 2) Overbuilding of apartments in the D.C. area. He knows the area quite well, and agreed that the West End was a great residential market, and not likely to be too strongly impacted by the overbuilding in other parts of the city. He initially expressed some hesitation as he thought it was strictly a conversion of an office building, as he typically prefers to do purpose-built residential. He was pleased to hear that phase II will be ground up residential construction. He had not received the package, so I have sent him another copy. -- duke
