| 10/05/2005 | Wistar Wood is an Acquisitions Specialist in the Direct Investment Group, responsible for sourcing, negotiating and underwriting new investment opportunities across several regions and the four primary product types. He has more than 15 years of direct acquisitions experience. Prior to joining AEW in 2004, Wistar was a Vice President in the acquisitions areas of Beacon Capital Partners and, prior to that, Beacon Properties Corporation. While at Beacon, he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting and closing over $1 billion of transactions. Wistar also has held positions in acquisitions, dispositions and asset management at Metric Realty and Copley Real Estate Advisors. Wistar is the founder and president of the Northeast Chapter of the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council (REIAC). He is a graduate of Princeton University (B.A.) and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (M.B.A.). -- pwitham
