10/16/2014John Ho is Managing Director for Landsea Group's U.S. Real Estate Division. He is responsible for managing all U.S. operations and is focused on acquisitions, development and sales of residential properties, including value-added services in the United States.

Established in 2001, Landsea Group is one of China's top 50 real estate companies and the largest green property developer in China. Landsea has implemented a long-term strategy of differentiation using green technology in buildings. While focused on residential property development as its principal business, Landsea is also actively engaged in new businesses, such as green senior housing, green construction technology and investments in green industries. Landsea Group is a founding member of China Green Building Council, and is also a member of the German Sustainable Building Council and U.S. Green Building Council. Last year, Landsea established its first office in the U.S. with the purpose to develop for-sale residential properties in gateway cities on both the west coast and east coast of the United States. In December 2013, Landsea acquired a land parcel in the San Francisco Bay Area, followed by the purchase of another site on the New Jersey waterfront in the Greater New York Area. These sites will include the development of both single family homes and condominiums for sale to the domestic U.S. market, in addition to catering the needs of a Chinese customer.

Before joining Landsea, Ho worked at leading global real estate investment management and consulting firms, Colliers International and Jones Lang LaSalle. While working at Jones Lang LaSalle, he served as Director and Vice President. He led the firm in cross border business development, focused on delivering transactional, consultancy and other integrated real estate services to outbound Chinese businesses investing overseas. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California with an emphasis in International Relations. -- duke
